I’m Darcey, a Receptionist at Julia Hart Skin & Wellness Centre, and I’ve been part of the clinic for almost a year. I really enjoy the friendly, open environment here and the upbeat atmosphere, while working to such high standards. I particularly love how every client is treated as an individual and how our nurses take the time to tailor treatments to each person’s needs. For me, making everyone feel welcome and ensuring they have the best possible experience is so important. I know that coming into a clinic for the first time, especially for an aesthetic treatment, can sometimes feel daunting, so I love being able to put people at ease and see them leave feeling confident, happy and with a smile.

Outside of work, I have a huge passion for horses and still have my own at home. I competed across Britain when I was younger and was fortunate enough to travel abroad with horses, including working alongside and helping the British team at Nations Cup events. Although I stepped away from competing a few years ago, horses have always been a big part of my life. I’m also a huge car enthusiast, particularly when it comes to nice cars! This is something that led me to spend most of my career in the motor trade, where I gained experience across sales, finance and customer service. I loved helping people find the right car for them, and I actually find there’s a funny similarity with my role at the clinic — I love getting to know what each client is looking for and helping them find the right nurse and treatment for their individual needs.

 

Before joining Julia Hart Skin & Wellness Centre, I knew very little about the aesthetics industry, but over the past year my knowledge has grown enormously and I’ve developed a real passion for the industry. I love being part of a team that helps people feel their very best and seeing the confidence that can come from achieving results that are right for each individual.

And, of course, I’ve also developed a very good charm with the nurses for squeezing in those last-minute appointments!
