ZO Stimulator Peel and Facial in Dunfermline

Professional Skin Treatments

A superficial facial peel designed to exfoliate the skin and address concerns including dullness, congestion, rough texture, fine lines and pigmentation.

What Is the ZO Stimulator Peel and Facial?

The ZO Stimulator Peel and Facial, also known as the Red Carpet Facial, is a superficial peel using a blend of glycolic, salicylic and citric acids. It is designed to exfoliate the epidermis, the upper layer of the skin, supporting cell turnover and helping the skin appear smoother and more even.

Treatment follows five stages: cleanse, exfoliate, prevent and correct, hydration and calming, and protect. Optional face masks or Dermalux LED phototherapy may also be added to the treatment.

Skin Concerns This Peel May Address

The ZO Stimulator Peel and Facial is used for a range of common concerns, from dry or dull-looking skin to congestion and uneven-looking tone. Common Questions

What skin concerns can the ZO Stimulator Peel address?

Dry or rough skin, dullness, congestion, blemishes, fine lines, pigmentation concerns, visible pores and blackheads. As several concerns may be present at the same time, suitability should be considered individually rather than assuming the peel is appropriate for everyone.

What happens during a ZO Stimulator Peel and Facial?

The facial is following five stages: cleanse, exfoliate, prevent and correct, hydration and calming, and protect. The peel itself uses glycolic, salicylic and citric acids as part of the exfoliation process.

Is the ZO Stimulator Peel uncomfortable?

The treatment is causing minimal to no discomfort. Some patients may experience a slight tingling sensation as the peel solution settles on the skin. Individual experiences can vary.

How long does the ZO Stimulator Peel take?

Treatment typically takes 30–45 minutes, depending on any additional add-ons included.

How many ZO Stimulator Peel treatments are recommended?

A course of four to six treatments, which may be carried out one week apart. It also recommends ongoing monthly peels to help maintain results. The appropriate treatment schedule should be considered on an individual basis.

When might I notice a difference?

Brighter, fresher-looking skin immediately following treatment. This should be presented as a possible outcome rather than a guaranteed result, as individual responses to treatment can vary.
